There is a lot to do in the vicinity of both houses:

Nature:

Our houses are located near the Kiskunság national park, one of the oldest national parks in Hungary. It is characterized by varied landscapes with varied biotopes: forests, sand dunes, wet grasslands, lakes and reed marshes, shallow salty lakes, fish ponds,... This creates a rich and varied animal and plant life. Large parts of the national park are freely accessible on footpaths, while observation huts and observation towers have been built here and there. We are happy to help our guests with tips for discovering the best spots in the nature reserve.

Culture:

Some attractive cultural cities are easy to reach, for example: Kecskemét with its Art Nouveau and its green squares; Szeged with stately mansions and the imposing Dom Tér; Budapest with the mighty castle hill on the one hand and the hip parts of the city and the overwhelming covered market hall on the other bank of the Danube.

Closer by, on the Bugacpuszta, the shepherds show their skills at the traditional horse shows. You'll also find the shepherd's museum and a mini children's farm.

Sport and relaxation:

The location of our houses offers hours of hiking and biking fun on endless dirt roads, along vineyards, forests, farmlands,...

Horseback riding is possible in one of the many riding stables nearby. A short ride on the piste or outside trips of one or more hours? Anything is possible and we are happy to help you book it for you.

Swimming in one of the pools, lakes or swimming paradises. The baths of Kecskemét or Kiskunmajsa are just a stone's throw away and offer hours of swimming fun.

Or rather enjoy and relax in a typical thermal bath? These are not far away either.

Gastronomy:

In most villages you have an étterem (restaurant). Here they serve the typical Hungarian cuisine. In the big cities such as Kecskemét, Budapest, Szeged there are several restaurants where they serve top quality international dishes.

The wine region of Kiskunság is known for local producers who produce good daily wines. Several of these wineries can be visited.

A visit to the picturesque wine village of Hajos with its typical cellars with gabled gables is definitely worth it..

We also have 2 luxury lodge tents in the middle of the puszta available, more info on
